We're looking for an Interior Designer who is passionate about creating thoughtful, beautifully executed spaces across multifamily, hospitality, retail, and lifestyle projects. What You'll Do
1. Design From Concept to Completion
- Support and lead projects through every phase of the design process—from concept development and space planning to construction documentation and installation.
- Translate creative ideas into functional, buildable, and inspiring environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and project managers to ensure design intent is carried through every stage.
2. Produce Technical Documentation
- Develop detailed construction documents and drawing packages using Revit.
- Create commercial permit sets that are accurate, coordinated, and code-compliant.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Manage FF&E
- Specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and accessories for a variety of project types.
- Coordinate pricing, procurement, custom fabrication, and installation with vendors and manufacturers.
- Maintain organized FF&E schedules and ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.
4. Support Construction
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and material samples.
- Participate in site visits to ensure construction aligns with the design vision.
- Work closely with contractors and consultants to resolve design challenges and maintain project quality.
5. Communicate Design
- Create presentations, mood boards, renderings, and visualizations that clearly communicate design concepts.
- Use rendering software and emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance the design process and client presentations.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional interior design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Experience producing commercial construction documents and permit sets.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, finishes, and building codes.
- Experience specifying and managing FF&E throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience designing hospitality, multifamily, fitness, retail, or commercial environments is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
