Description
Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable facility operations. This includes working with lighting, power distribution, HVAC motors and motor controls, and other related electrical infrastructure. The role supports daily operations by maintaining electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Install and maintain switches, breakers, panels, receptacles, lighting fixtures, dimmer systems, and other electrical apparatus
Troubleshoot electrical shorts, motors, and motor control systems
Perform pipe bending and install EMT, conduit, wire mold, and BX
Maintain and clean electrical rooms, service rooms, and work areas
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Skills
Knowledge of and experience using hand and power tools
Experience with pipe bending and electrical circuitry
Basic knowledge of national and local electrical codes
Minimum three (3) years of experience working with a licensed electrical contractor
Ability to work safely on ladders, scissor lifts, and in elevated areas
Education & Knowledge
High school diploma, trade school diploma, or GED
Knowledge of electrical code standards
Understanding of Ohm’s Law and basic electrical circuitry principles
