This technician operates with minimal supervision and is proficient in system integration, advanced troubleshooting, and quality control.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently lead installations, calibrations, or testing of complex instrumentation systems
- Perform high-level diagnostics and root cause analysis of control and automation issues.
- Ensure installations adhere to electrical codes, engineering specs, and QA/QC standards.
- Perform onsite control panel investigations and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and maintain controls for pumps, valves, and motors.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Advanced knowledge of industrial automation systems, control wiring, and instrumentation.
- Proven experience with VFDs and motor starters.
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to perform installations that meet National Electrical Code requirements.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and support junior staff effectively.
- Safely troubleshoot and modify 480 VAC control panels (starters, relays, timers, etc.)
- Ability to read and completely understand control/PLC panel drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of field experience in EI&C roles.
- Proven experience with water/wastewater treatment systems.
- Familiarity with control panels, SCADA systems, and PLC interfaces.
- Technical certification or associate degree in instrumentation, automation, or a related field.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps, motors, and valves
