Job Summary
Selected candidates are responsible for a variety of activities centering around design, build, and validation support. You will work with manufacturing test equipment and functional test fixtures applied to PCBA-based electronics manufacturing. We seek candidates who have experience with industrial automation solutions, and with electronic and electro-mechanical design projects.
Responsibilities Typically Include:
- Creating design proposals
- Developing project plans and tracking
- Applying off-the-shelf and custom components to PCBA based product solutions
- PCB, PCBA and component layout, schematic development
- Applying IEC design principles and DFM and DFT methodologies (Valor or similar)
- Software design, development and debug for embedded micro designs and firmware
- Software design, development and debug for control and DATAQ (C, C#, LabView, Python)
- Building and testing customer-designed and in-house designed products
- Collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams, both internal and external facing, while also working independently as needed
Requirements:
- BSEE or combination or formal training (College and/or Military) and experience designing electronic circuits (analog, digital) or test equipment
- Experience in circuit layout and file structure with one or more eCAD packages
- Experience with software solutions for embedded designs, control and DATAQ applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Authorization to work in USA
