As Electrical Engineer, you will bring excellent client relationship skills and 5 to 10 years’ electrical consulting experience on building projects ranging from commercial and multi-family residences to educational, institutional and light industrial.

Responsibilities include:
Serve as a key Professional Representative of the firm in liaising with owners, consultants and other project stakeholders. Identify and establish project design requirements for commercial, educational, institutional and multi-residential building projects.
Assess available material and technology to determine its suitability for use on specific projects.
Conduct site investigations to determine existing system conditions and composition.
Develop preliminary, schematic, and detailed designs and specifications for building electrical systems.
Perform technical reviews of Construction Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Perform construction contract administration services.
Work collaboratively with members of the office and electrical team; provide mentoring and be open to continued learning to expand your skills and career progression.
Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
Electrical Engineering degree, with a P.Eng designation. Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
5 – 10 years related experience in building assessments, design and project administration of electrical building projects.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, CAD and Revit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and project stakeholders.
Strong teamwork and leadership skills. Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and lead/mentor other engineers and technologists.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate project schedules, resources and budgets.
