Description:- Oversee and manage construction phase
- Oversee technical direction.
- Monitor that the project is constructed in compliance with contract documents, budget, and schedule.
- Establish project procedures, problem-solving activities, budget reviews and certifications needed.
- Prepare agendas and conduct project related meetings
- Review contractor's construction schedule and monitor progress for adherence
- Review contractor claims
- Review and approve contractor's pay applications
- Interface with clients and contractors
- Interface with project stakeholders
- Maintain project tracking logs and documentation
- Monitor safety programs onsite
- Initiate document revisions, project reviews, and processes change orders.
- Receive and distribute test reports.
- Manage inspectors assigned to project
- Prepare lists of items to complete or correct and establish close-out procedures
- Perform post-construction services and investigations as needed.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in general civil, facility, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control and specialty fields of construction.
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing other inspectors.
- Professional Engineer License preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
- Prior experience with large, capital improvement, public works projects involving coordination between multi-disciplined contractors.
- 10 hour OSHA safety course; 40 hour Supervisor course preferred.
- First aid & CPR training preferred.
- ICBO, or equivalent, certification preferred.
- Prior supervisory/ lead inspector experience.
