Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Solution Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling electrical control panels/pneumatic assemblies and associated components in accordance with work instructions, production orders, and company quality and ISO policies. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting production and quality standards. Each level builds upon technical and leadership skills to support the team's overall success.
Essential Functions
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and small electrical assemblies per work instructions.
- Read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
- Operate equipment such as wire cutters and label printers.
- Effectively communicate project needs and potential issues to the shop lead.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience, Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in a similar assembly position is preferred
- Experience assembling electrical control panels and/or pneumatic assemblies is a plus
- Basic understanding of tools and components used in assembly
- Ability to learn and follow instructions for mechanical and electrical assembly
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- This role requires the ability to use hand tools, operate mechanical equipment, move throughout the shop and lift up to 50lbs.
