Description

This position will evaluate and classify properties within Nicollet County, calculate new construction changes and provide value estimates for proposed residential improvements and developments, respond to taxpayers’ requests, and attend Board of Appeal and Equalization Meetings.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in real estate or a related field, and 2 years of appraisal experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the position; and
• Must be an Accredited Minnesota Assessor (AMA) or must have the ability to be licensed as an AMA within the allowable statutory timeframe; and
• Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license and have a reliable automobile for county related business.
