Onward Star Studios is seeking a talented 2D Background Painter / Color Artist to work on our upcoming animated project, Seedling.

We are currently in production of the pilot episode and are looking for an artist specializing in 2D digital painting, color, and environmental artwork. This position will focus primarily on creating and painting the backgrounds and environments used throughout the pilot.

Existing layouts, concepts, and creative direction will be provided. However, the artist will also collaborate closely with the production team to contribute to concept development, visual exploration, and creative direction, helping shape the overall look and atmosphere of the series.

Onward Star Studios has recently secured its first $35,000 in funding toward the production of the pilot, with active fundraising efforts continuing as we work to secure additional funding for the project.

Salary is negotiable and will be discussed based on the artist's experience, portfolio, project scope, and availability.
