Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor, the BPI HEP Energy Auditor is responsible for accurately compile information about residential structures for Energy Audits including but not limited to: construction type, dimensions of building, spaces within the building, and types of building components'. Evaluate existing baseload, conduct indoor air quality tests, Perform complex building diagnostic testing protocols: combustion safety and efficiency tests, pressure diagnostics, HVAC distribution tests. Assess the test results and determine appropriate energy conservation measures and retro-fits allowable under the IHWAP regulations and guidelines. Follow all necessary and mandated health and safety compliance to protect the wellbeing of the clients.

Possess and maintains the dynamic ability to: Compile, code, categorize, calculate, and tabulate all prevent information related to the diagnostic results and data collected during the Energy auditing process.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Must be certified by the State of Illinois or become certified after participating in training given by the State of Illinois and CEDA within one year of employment
