Location: The Project Manager will work in a combination of client sites in and around the Ottawa area, and, at Roof and Building Service International (RBS) Headquarters located in Perth, Ontario. RBS Int’l Headquarters is a clean, comfortable and modern business casual environment.

What we are looking for – The Right Fit
RBS is looking for a motivated and focused Project Manager that is looking to develop a career in the roofing industry, with an emphasis on sustainable building life-cycle management that exceeds industry best-practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction and be a natural entrepreneur that instinctively knows what needs to be done. You are a resourceful, self-sufficient leader who knows’ what you don’t know and instinctively leverages the strength of the team. We want someone that is the best at what they do and who can bring value and innovative ideas to our organization.
The Project Manager is a crucial player within RBS’s project portfolio and is responsible for the full life-cycle of projects. Keys to success in this role will be the ability to work independently and collaboratively with numerous teams through all stages of the project, including pre-construction in partnership with and supporting the sales team, and in-process construction project management. The work involves managing project stakeholders and business relationships as primary contact, reviewing of estimates, developing project strategies, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, managing project financials, and maintaining profitability of projects.
Project Managers ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget through effective coordination of internal resources and vendors resulting in the seamless execution of projects. They can meet challenges head-on, escalate and resolve issues resourcefully, guaranteeing success.
