SUMMARY OF THIS POSITION: Student Housing is a division of Residential and Dining Enterprises (R&DE). It supports the educational mission of the University by providing housing services for 12,000 students and their families and 18,000 summer visitors living in 350 housing facilities on the Stanford campus. This position supports all operations in Residential and Dining Enterprises including Housing, Dining, and Hospitality.
Reporting to the Technical Trades Manager, the Lead Electrician performs and oversees journey level work in all aspects of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, lighting services, service upgrades and installations for all Residential and Dining Enterprises facilities. Incumbent also serves as the primary coordinator with Project Crew Lighting Maintenance staff in advising, troubleshooting, providing technical guidance.
This position oversees the work of a journey-level Electrician team, currently two FTE's in addition to this Lead position.
