The City of Cambridge, Department of Public Works is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 6 to 8 years of experience in Construction, Architecture, or Owner’s Project Management. This position will support a capital plan altering the City’s diverse building portfolio to achieve sustainable, low maintenance, high-performance facilities.
Projects vary in size, scope and complexity and have been prioritized based on condition, impact on stakeholders, greenhouse gas reduction, and funding. Projects include partial and complete alterations with estimated values of $2 to $20 million. as well as deferred maintenance projects across multiple buildings for accessibility, fire and life safety, repointing and sealants, window and roof replacements.
