The PIMA Technical Director serves as a primary technical voice for the polyisocyanurate industry in order to assure that Polyiso is accurately represented in all scientific and technical discussions regarding use and suitability in the built environment. To accomplish this mission, the Technical Director coordinates all technical-related activities within PIMA, serves as a primary technical liaison to organizations involved in the development of building standards, and serves as a recognized voice for the Polyiso industry in industry-related meetings and media and to users and specifiers of Polyiso products.
PIMA is the national trade association representing Polyiso insulation manufacturers and suppliers to the Polyiso industry. PIMA advances the use of Polyiso insulation and is one of the nation’s foremost industry advocates for energy-efficient practices and policies. In addition, PIMA has been recognized by both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Sustainable Building Industries Council for advocacy and products.
Coordinate PIMA product standards activities (25%)
Coordinate PIMA energy and environmental activities (25%)
Represent PIMA as a technical voice in industry meetings and media (15%)
Serve as a technical liaison to industry associations (15%)
Respond to technical inquiries from consumers and PIMA members (10%)
Coordinate activities with PIMA Board and Staff (10%)
Position does not require relocation to D.C. metro area. Remote workplace allowed.
